American Heart Association Friends and Family CPR - Cardiopulmonary resuscitation is a lifesaving technique. Learn CPR and how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED). This class is ideal for new parents, as well as both grandparents and babysitters! We will be scheduling additional classes in the coming months. Keep checking our website for new dates. This class is not for certification, however, our instructor will work with you if you need to obtain certification for your employment, etc... Sign up in either one of our offices. Mindful Parenting - In a world filled with stress and pressure, this workshop helps families find strategies and tools to skillfully create a healthy, calm and joyful family culture. We will explore the unique challenges of parenting and offer opportunities that create presence, space and awareness leading to a richer, fuller family dynamic. Space is limited. Nutrition Classes – These classes offer creative solutions for your picky eater, tips for navigating food wars, and strategies for healthy eating habits. Individual and group sessions are led by Nancy Pcsolyar, a registered dietitian with a BS in Foods and Nutrition from Indiana University. Most insurance plans are accepted. Intro to Baby Massage - A 60-minute introduction to infant massage. Topics of discussion will include; the benefits of infant massage, how and when to incorporate it into baby's routine, and basic beginning strokes with demonstration and hands-on practice. This class is designed for non-mobile babies. Please bring a bed size pillow for baby to lie on. Oil will be provided. Babies are welcome to attend.
